Like all of the ceramics on this site these items are made from a specially formulated stoneware clay. They are decorated with a subtle green glaze high fired to 1230 degrees centigrade. These plaques original items made from moulds modelled by Alistair Gillies.

P1 Green Man £30

The green man is found all over the world and this plaque would create a distinctive focal point. Approximately 12 1/2" diameter.

P2 Art Nouveau Girl £30

Influenced by the Art Nouveau movement. 16 inches wide.

Inspired by a pencil drawing of a bird by William Morris. 16 inches wide.

P5 Three Hares £30

The three hares motif is thought to have originated in the far east and made it's way across Europe to England where it is commonly called 'Tinners Hares' and associated with mining. This original version of the three hares is 11 inches diameter.
